"WILL BELIEVE"
2010 German Oldenburg Gelding currently 16.2 hds
Willemoes x Borghese (Beachboy)

"Bucky" is a fancy youngster that is the definition of the classic hunter type. He is a lovely mover, very balanced and has smooth canter with natural lead changes. He has that soft big brown doe eye and is very laid back to deal with around the barn and at shows. He is currently 16.2 hds and expected to finish out around 16.3 hds. This elegant youngster has a very big stride and classic stylish jump that he displayed well down the freejump chute. He is brave and quite careful, he uses himself very well and has a nice round jump. To look at his face is to fall in love with him.... They don't come any prettier than this one!

Bucky has been showing regularly in the 2yo Hunter Breeding classes this year. He has been quite successful with numerous Best Young Horse & Reserve wins while he has been gaining valuable show mileage and experience. He is extremely easy at the shows and takes little preparation to get to the ring. He is well mannered and quite relaxed in the busiest of show atmospheres. He will be a perfect young hunter prospect for any Ammy or Jr. If you are looking for an easy and fancy young horse to develop to your showing goals, look no further. Bucky will be ready to be started lightly under saddle this summer/fall, Magic Hill Farm always offers special pricing for Starting Board on any of our sale horses....please inquire for details.

***We have current xrays on Bucky (provided by breeder/owner) that are available upon request.

"WEST PORTIA"
2011 bay filly by Westporte out of Pinehurst's Icebreaker

Portia is that fancy young hunter prospect with all the chrome to stand out in a crowd. She is an excellent mover that will be a top hack prize winner in the best company. She showed a fabulous round jump and really uses her neck and back well when freejumped as shown in the video below. You can tell she is a Westporte! Portia has a very relaxed and calm personality, will suit an amateur looking for an enjoyable partner very well. She is very personable and sweet, has excellent ground manners and has been handled extensively from being raised in a professional show hunter program from birth. This filly is clean legged with excellent feet.

Portia is a lovely youngster with the great temperament and athletic ability the Westporte offspring always bring to the table.

"CHAPPELLE"
2008 GOV gelding by Capital III.
***IHF Nominated***

Chappelle has had a great show record on the line this spring with many wins in the 3yo PA bred and and 3yo Non TB classes.  He is  a cute mover and is very quiet to work around. This one has Ammy horse written all over him! He truly has the great mind and attitude that the Capital III babies are known for. He is expected to finish out at 16.2 hds. Fully nominated to the International Hunter Futurity. Owner is reluctantly selling due to her own pregnancy with her first child. Chappelle is being started under saddle currently at Magic Hill Farm...

Pablito x Legacy (Salut)

"Penny" is a striking and elegant 2yo Oldenburg filly by Pablito. She has done very well in the Hunter Breeding this year showing in the 2yo Non-TB filly classes. She has earned several Best and Reserve Best Young Horse Titles in top company, including a 3rd at Upperville. Penny is currently leading the 2yo Non TB filly division for the PHSA.

"Penny" is lovely light mover that will win any hack in the best of company. Her trot is beautiful, flat kneed and she just floats! She is also a very pretty mover at the canter as well and has a big lopey but light stride. The lead changes come easy for this one for sure. She was very quiet and easy to freejump down the chute. She is very brave and careful to the jumps. Penny will be ready to be started under saddle in the fall as a late 2yo. We expect her to be a very light and soft ride under tack by the way she moves and how well she uses herself naturally. She should  mature to 16.1 + to 16.2 hds. This filly has been handled extensively since birth and is very nice to work around, even stands to have her mane pulled !

"WELLSPRING'S ROXSTAR"
2008 Large Holsteiner x Welsh pony gelding by Magical and out of Roxann

"Tom" was started under saddle this spring at Magic Hill. He is a beautiful mover with a lovely trot and canter. He has a natural lead change and is very balanced. Even though he measures comfortably as a large pony, he rides like a little Warmblood horse with his big trot and huge lopey canter. He will walk the lines without a doubt. He even exceeded our expectations down the jump chute...Tom was very brave, had a great eye and rhythm to the jumps and was very careful. This pony consistently showed us a picture perfect jump every time.

Tom is a 1/2 brother to Large Pony "Mapleside Dolcetto" (also a Warmblood cross pony by Magical) who was 3rd Overall Large Green Pony at the 2010 Pony Finals and was the WINNER Over Fences out of 81 ponies. Tom's maternal 1/2 siblings (Wellspring's Jubillee & Wellspring's Showbiz) have been top contenders in the Small Pony divisions. The dam of these ponies, Roxann, was a very successful Small Pony Hunter herself.

We expect Tom to follow in those footsteps and be a top large pony when finished.....

* Best Other Than TB 3yo
* Best Other Than TB CHAMPION
* RESERVE BEST YOUNG HORSE OVERALL for the WHS

Dallas is owned by Mr.& Mrs. Chuck Grossmann, Handled by Jay Golding, Bred by HilCat Farm, Sired by "Willemoes"  and SOLD by Magic Hill Farm

Looking for your next Jr. or A/O horse? Here he is!  Dallas is a great mover and has a fantastic jump that is very soft and lovely, yet has plenty of scope. Please check out his freejumping video below. He has 3 balanced gaits that will get you a top hack prize in the best of company. He will be a star in the professional hunter divisions and with his kind and willing mannerism, he will finish out as someone's dream Jr. or A/O horse. Dallas is as sweet as he is beautiful. Dallas was also the Premium Yearling in his 2008 Danish Inspection.

****NEW FREEJUMPING VIDEO OF DALLAS TAKEN 8/29/09:

Dallas' sire, Willemoes DVE, was a successful Grand Prix stallion in Europe. He passes his incredible jump to all of his offspring.

2010 Update:
"Valiant" has been consistently winning in the Pre-Children's Hunters with Owner Riley Ballard. They were Champion out of 101 entries at the MANCHESTER SUMMER FEST in VT  and also were Champion at the Maryland Horse & Pony Show.....

Watch for Riley & Shaker in the Children's !!!

"SHAKESPEARE"
2003 Grey Dutch x TB 16.2 hd gelding
by Nupasse and out of Shooting Star

Shakespeare was shown in the Young Hunter U/S classes in 2007 with good ribbons. He is a great mover and fantastic over fences, his lead changes are natural easy. He has lots of step to the jumps and walks the lines. He has a great canter and has a steady rhythm to the jumps, very easy to find the distances on. He is schooling around at home over 2'6" with solid changes. Unfortunately, the owner's financial situation has put restraints on his show mileage and training.

With his step and scope, Shakespeare will make a fantastic 3'6" horse for someone. With his athletic ability, he would be a great 3'6" horse for the hunter, equitation or even the jumper ring. But with his lofty jump, big stride and movement, I think he would shine in the first years in 2010. This is a very nice young horse that any professional would be proud to show.

The current owner is also his breeder, so we are looking for the right show home situation to make this horse shine.....

Congratulations To RILEY BALLARD on The Purchase Of SHAKESPEARE!

"CROWD PLEAZARR"
2009 bay gelding by ZARR and out of Bella the Ball (TB)

"Rowdy" is by the very popular hunter stallion, Zarr and the first foal out of Bella the Ball, who was very successful in the hunter ring, including ribbons at West Palm Beach. He should mature to be 16.1 to 16.2hds. He is an beautiful mover with big sweeping gaits. This one got his daddy's hack winning movement! He is very sweet and nice to work with around the barn. Personality and temperament plus. Rowdy is very leggy and athletic, will be a good performance horse in the hunter ring. Loves to swap his leads out in the field! This little guy was blessed with tons of chrome to complete this fancy package....

Rowdy is eligible for the International Hunter Futurity (IHF) and sells with a full nomination, paperwork is currently pending. The Zarr offspring have been wildly successful in this particular program. Zarr was the leading IHF sire for 3 years in a row (2004 to 2006).

"Andi" is a BEAUTIFUL mover and has 3 very elastic gaits. His lead changes are natural and effortless. He has a great presence about him that the Alla' Czar offspring is known for as well as the kind & willing temperament. He is extremely athletic and is a natural over fences....please click on the link below to view a few clips of Andi at liberty & freejumping, he is incredible. He is going to make a fabulous 3'6" horse for someone. Andi is very enthusiastic about anything you do with him and loves attention. He is extremely sweet and very good to work around. Great to clip, bathe, tie, etc.  He was not shown as a yearling last year due to the fact that he was a bit of a late bloomer, as many WB boys are. Andi is now about 16.0 hds and is really coming into his own. He should mature to  be 16.2 to 16.3 hds. He can been seen showing in the Hunter Breeding Divisions in the 2yo non-TB colt & geldings class this year.

"JUST HEAVENLY"
2004 bay Welsh/ QH pony mare, 13.1 hds +

"Bunny" is going to be the children's pony deluxe....She is a good mover, smooth to ride, jumps adorably. Her lead changes are easy & getting very consistent. Bunny is ready to walk into the pre-children's ring now and will ready to move into the children's shortly after with a little more show mileage.

This pony is very kid safe and uncomplicated. Bunny was usually champion or reserve almost every time out last year in the short stirrup division as a 3yo with a 7yo child. Not many ponies are quiet & easy enough for that....but this one certainly is. She has a great work ethic and is very nice to work around. She also showed lightly in the pony breeding classes since she was a yearling and did well.
(2006 PHSA Champion 2yo PA bred and Reserve Champion 2yo pony, 2007 Reserve Champion 3yo PA bred Pony & 3rd PHSA Young Pony Hunter U/S....all with limited showing!!!)

Bunny is sound, clean-legged and has no vices. She has the best feet in the world, currently barefoot. She is a super sweet pony that anyone would love to keep in the barn.

This is a nice pony that will make your child shine in the pre-children's ring this year and will be the ultimate children's pony. A lease to purchase option may be available to the right show home.

"AMBLESIDE BRIAR ROSE"

2004 14.1 hd  Welsh x Appendix bay pony mare
Glannant Scarab x My Kinda Diamond

"Rosie" is as sweet as she is pretty. She has lived and shown here with us since she was a yearling. She is a really nice mover, has good lead changes both ways and jumps great. Will mature to be a top of the line large pony. She is going to be the ultimate large children's pony when she is finished. Rosie is quiet to ride, extremely wonderful to work around in the barn and at the shows. She is very calm & kid-safe. She always has the best willing expression with happy pricked ears, not mareish at all. She is hacking and jumping small courses quietly with easy lead changes.

Rosie has accumulated quite the show record already....She has been the USEF Zone II Pony Breeding Champion as well as PHSA Champion the past 3 years (2005 as a yearling, 2006 as a 2yo, & 2007 as a 3yo). This pony has many Best & Reserve Best Young Pony Titles on her resume from the past 3 years. She also was the 2007 PHSA Reserve Champion Young Hunter Pony U/S. She will definitely get a top model prize!

We also trained and sold Rosie's 1/2 brother (same mom), "Ambleside Touch of Grey", who went on to show in the large greens successfully with a client of Bradley Caine's. He was super quiet and easy as is Rosie.

Rosie has no vices or known health problems. She has been a pleasure to raise and start here at the farm, she has been very sensible & easy about everything from day one. This would be a great pony to start your child in the short stirrup hunter division and eventually be the ultimate children's pony with some finishing. This pony is ready to walk into the Pre-Children's ring now for 2009. All the right pieces are there, she just needs some more show mileage.

"DEAUVILLE"

2008 Dark bay Filly
  By DeLaurentis x Sherbrooke

"LE" is a yearling filly by DeLaurentis and the first foal out of Sherbrooke (TB). Sherbrooke was a successful show hunter that competed in the A/O Hunter Division, including good ribbons at WEF.

LE was shown lightly in the Hunter Breeding Classes this year with great results. She was the 2009 PHSA Champion PA-bred Yearling Filly and 3rd place Non-TB Yearling Filly with limited showing. She was 4th in a very large Non-TB Yearling Fily Class at Devon and brought home several tricolors this year.

LE is a beautiful mover and looks like she has a big jump in her to follow in her mother's hoofprints and be a good 3'6" horse. She has a great natural instinct to find a good distance and very fluid/ smooth jump.

"MESTENO"
2004 13.0 hand bay pony gelding

"Envy" is the future short stirrup pony deluxe. No spook, silliness. Even though he is still a little green, he is going to be a great kids' pony. He is very smooth to ride and has very comfortable gaits. He is a really cute mover and jumper. This pony always pins well in the hacks. He is currently w/t/c and jumping small courses very quietly. Envy is very brave, yet slow and steady to the jumps. He jumps adorably! We started playing with his lead changes and he will get them down the diagonals. He is on the pokey side to ride, which is nice for the kids. This pony is very trustworthy and sensible for kids to work around (he does beg for peppermints however!)

Envy has been going to horse shows since he was a yearling....he showed and placed well in the Pony Hunter Breeding Divisions. In 2006, as a 2yo, he was the Zone II Reserve Champion 2 yo pony (to one of our other client's ponies) and was the PHSA 2yo Champion Hunter Pony Colt. Since then, he has gone to several local shows unde saddle and placed well in the schooling and short stirrup classes. He is as quiet at the shows as he is at home, which is great.

Owner is currently in college and needs to half-lease or lease this pony indefinitely while she finishes school. Envy has lived with us since he was 2 months old....We are primarily looking for a special child to lease him here at Magic Hill Farm for a VERY REASONABLE FEE to continue his training. We would also consider a lease to an outside farm if Envy would be placed in a program under a professional's care & supervision.

If you are looking for a safe and cute project pony to work with and show on a budget, here he is!

Please contact Emily for more details and pricing at magichillfarm@aol.com or call 610 689-0150

"MIDDLEWAY'S TIA MARIA"
JLA Sir William x Hailey's Comet
2006 Welsh x QH Large chestnut filly

FULL SIBLING TO MIDDLEWAY'S HANDSOME DEVIL

NEWS FLASH FROM DEVON 2008:

~Middleway's Tia Maria and Middleway's Handsome Devil WIN THE PRODUCE OF DAM CLASS

"Tia" started out her show career with a bang... She was the 2006 GRAND PA/NJ WEANLING PONY CHAMPION at 3 months old. She showed lightly in the pony breeding divisions as a yearling and did very well. She ended up the PHSA Reserve Champion Yearling Hunter Pony Filly & 3rd place PHSA PA bred Yearling Pony for 2006, all with limited showing. Tia topped off her successful year by winning her class and being named the CHAMPION YEARLING PONY FILLY at the PA Hunter Breeders' Futurity in September 2007.

Tia is incredibly sweet and easy to work around. She is super quiet and very sensible. This filly is a nice mover and has a beautiful head and neck. Most importantly, she has a GREAT MIND.  This will be a great large children's pony and later a phenomenal asset to any pony breeding program. Owner is retiring from the pony breeding business and looking for a good show home for Tia.

This is a super quiet pony that has been handled daily since she was a foal. She has been started under saddle this summer and was easy to start. She is currently w/t/c and started over fences. Tia has also been out to some shows under saddle to do some sight seeing and get some mileage as well.

"SECRET PLEASURE"
2004 16.1hd black TB gelding by Leelanau.

"Beau" is big & pretty!!! He was professionally started by MHF as a 2yo last fall for owner. After being in training for several months for the track, owner decided he was too slow to run. He was taken off the track 100% sound, sane and with no blemishes or vices. He is very nice to work around and live with. Beau had 3 months off to rest and get fat,& is now back in training as a show horse. He is a cute mover and quiet to ride, soft in your hand and moves off your leg well. You can tell he was started by a hunter/jumper professional. He walks, trots, canters and picks up both leads easily. He bends well in both directions as well and will be easy to finish. Beau would be a great project horse for someone to finish for themselves or a nice resale horse for someone who is willing to put in a little time. Beau is 100% sound and has no vices.

CONGRATULATIONS TO AMIE GRAHAM IN NY  ON THE PURCHASE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL YOUNG HORSE.!!!  Special thanks to trainer, Donald Egan at Egan's Equestrian

"Foxy" is a beautiful mover and jumper, with a big step that walks lines. He will get a top model ribbon as well. His first and only time out in the pony breeding(as a 2yo), he was Best Young Pony at the MD State Fair. "Foxy" will be a serious contender in the medium ponies, he is a top of the line "easy" measure. He is great to live with and is very kid savvy. He will be an easy pony to finish, just needs some more show mileage.

This pony will make your child a star the short stirrup division and will be easy enough for them to make up to be a pony division pony with a professional's help. He is quiet & slow with a younger rider, but will march down the lines and do the numbers with a older child. Foxy is very sweet and gentle, no spook or silliness. You'll never believe that he is 5yrs old, because he acts like an old pro. He is as quiet at the horse shows as he is at home. Foxy is sound, has no known health problems or vices.
